The challenge of building affordable housing for workers in a special economic zone within Cambodia is approached from the perspective of progress, understanding housing as a process that builds community and wellbeing and not as a final product.

 

This project wants to provide a dignified quality of life and opportunities to its inhabitants, offering them a platform from which they can project and promote themselves as individuals, as families and as a community, from constructive sincerity taking into account the architectural tradition and the local labor force, allowing lower costs depending on the technology used, providing the development of houses and units of basic services and urban equipment, where the developer builds the fixed (the support) and its inhabitants build the rest according to their possibilities of growth in time, generating a link of belonging.
